What a first store costs, in plain words.

Open a Shopify store

Sign up at shopify.com. Shopify bills its own plan, about $39 a month on Basic (less if you pay yearly). That's Shopify, not us.

Pick a theme

A theme is the look and the selling tools that sit on top of your store. Pay once; the download, a 10-minute install video and the Launch Kit land in your email.

Install it, or let us

Upload it yourself with the video. Or pick Installed + optimized (+$100): you add us as a collaborator with a 4-digit code from Shopify, no password needed, and it is live within 48h or the $100 comes back.

Or skip all of it

Before you pick

What do I get, and how?

The theme zip, the install video and docs, the launch playbook and the Launch Kit. They land in your inbox the second you check out, from the downloads app. Nothing ships.

What does the license cover?

One license covers one store, with lifetime updates for it. Running a second store? DM us for a second license. You own the code once it is on your store.

What does install include?

You add me as a collaborator and send your logo and product photos. We upload the theme, set colors, fonts and nav, load up to 25 products and check it on a real phone. Live in 48h or $100 back. It is $100 on any theme.

Can I get a refund?

Per our refund policy, theme sales are final once your download link is delivered, because it's a file you keep. If the link never arrives and we can't get you access, you get a refund.

Picked Installed + optimized? It's live within 48h of your collaborator code, or the $100 comes back. Self-installing and stuck? DM us and we'll help you get it live.

Do updates cost extra?

No. Every update to the theme is free for the store you licensed it on. Re-download from the same link.

Dawn is free. Why pay?

Dawn gives you a grid and a cart. Countdowns, password pages, gift tiers, bundles and size finders are usually separate monthly apps or a developer job. Our themes build them in for one payment.

Will my apps still work?

Tell us your apps before you buy and we'll check each one. What we can say now:

  • Email, SMS and pixels (Klaviyo, Postscript, Meta and TikTok pixels) connect to Shopify as app embeds, so they keep running.
  • Reviews and subscription widgets go on the product page as app blocks, from the theme editor.
  • Running Rebuy or a size-chart app? Sellout's cart upsell and size finder are blocks you can remove, and gift tiers, the size quiz and chat each switch off in theme settings, so you don't end up with two of the same widget.
  • What carries over: products, collections, customers, orders, metafields and your reviews live in Shopify, not the theme.

Skeleton has no product-page app-block slot, so a widget that needs one takes a small code add; Reign and Sellout take app blocks.

I don't run drops. Is it for me?

Yes. The countdown and drop tabs are optional. Bundles, gift tiers, the size finder and the cart upsell work the same for restocks, new arrivals and gift-with-purchase. Want a soft, light look? Open the SOFT HOURS demo (womenswear, warm neutrals).

Will it slow down on drop day?

The drop and cart tools are in the theme's own code, so there's no extra app script for each one, and the theme's scripts load deferred so the page draws first. Shopify hosts the store, so drop-night traffic runs on Shopify's servers. Check it yourself: run any of the live stores on this page through Google PageSpeed Insights (pagespeed.web.dev).

Why not just use AI or a $150 theme?

You can. AI or a $150 theme gets you a layout. What it won't have are the calls already made in Sellout's code on live clothing stores:

  • The free gift adds itself at the spend you set, and comes back out if the cart drops below it, so nobody checks out with a gift they didn't earn.
  • Gift thresholds follow the shopper's currency if you sell in more than one.
  • The drop countdown runs on your store's time zone (daylight saving handled), shows each shopper their own local time, and moves through final day, final hour, early access, live and sold out by itself.
  • The cart suggests a matching piece and skips anything already in the bag or given as a gift.
  • Sold-out pieces stay on the grid instead of vanishing.

Those are the edge cases you'd otherwise find on drop night. If you'd rather piece it together yourself, Dawn plus apps works too.

No Shopify store yet?

Yes. A theme sits on top of a Shopify store, so you open the store first at shopify.com. Shopify bills its own plan, about $39 a month on Basic (less if you pay yearly). That's Shopify, not us; the theme has no monthly fee.

Then either upload the theme with the 10-minute video, or pick Installed + optimized and we do it. For that you add us as a collaborator: Shopify gives you a 4-digit code under Settings → Users, so we never need your password, and you can remove us any time.
